A red Seat 124 emerges from the depths of the Sant Magí reservoir with two bodies inside. In the town everyone knows that these are the bodies of Teresa and Mireia Molins, mother and daughter who disappeared in 1976.
Sergeant Laia Vilanova of the Mossos d’Esquadra is going through a difficult time. Separated from her husband and on leave from work, she devotes all her energy to uncovering the truth that has lain submerged for decades beneath the reservoir. She contacts Enric Borrell, the police officer who investigated the disappearances in the 1970s, now in his eighties and living in a care home.
Through her testimony, Laia will experience a turbulent time of changes, hopes and betrayals, but the sergeant will suffer another shock that will shake the hidden secrets: the past returns to settle scores.
More than fifty years have passed and the time has come to reveal the drowned secrets.
